Dynamics of the game
The batting team is the one that scores the races. The
hitters play in pairs, one at one end of the cricket pitch ( pitch ) from where
they hit ( striker end ) and the other from where the ball is thrown (
non-striker end ) and watch PSL live match Psl schedule and teams 2018
The batter who is currently in the striker end must hit the
ball as far as possible to allow time for both batters to run to the other end,
before the ball is returned to either end. The act of getting both batters to
the other end, produces a race. If the ball is hit far enough, you can score more
runs by going to the other end until the ball comes back. The batter that ends
in the striker end is the one that faces the next ball.
The throwing team tries not only to restrict the number of
runs, but also to eliminate the batters of the opposing team. The ball is
thrown from the non-striker end by the pitcher, who will try to give the
wicket, defended by the batter, composed of three vertical sticks ( the stumps
) on which are placed two crossbars ( the bails ). As much as if the batter
hits the ball, or not, the ball is picked up by a defender ( fielder ) and
returned to the pitcher. A set of six releases constitutes an over. Once a
pitcher finishes an over, another pitcher takes the relay and throws another
over from the other end of the court; batters remain on the side where they
were left. Each time a batter is eliminated (out), a new batter enters into a
partnership with the batter who has not been eliminated.
The entrance ends when it is not possible to form another
couple; Normally when ten batters are eliminated from the eleven. One of the
hitters is not eliminated ( not out ). Once the entry is finished, the roles
are changed and the team that was bowling becomes the batter and vice versa.
